ORIENTAL ROAST PORK 
2 1/2 lbs. boneless pork shoulder (cut into 4 strips)

Make 3 or 4 diagonal cuts from opposite directions, cutting halfway through the width of strip without cutting it into pieces.

For the marinade:

4 tbsp. Hoisin sauce
4 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tbsp. white wine
6 tbsp. sugar
Some salt and pepper

Mix all the ingredients together in a large bowl and let the pork marinate for a few hours.

Place the pork on the rack in the top of the oven. Place a tray with water under the pork to catch the drippings. Roast the pork at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. Five minutes before it is done, brush some honey all over the pork.
