1/2 c. crisco
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. plus 2 tbsp. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. chocolate chips

Combine crisco and sugar. Blend in egg and vanilla, add the other ingredients, stir well. Then add chips. Put on ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake 375°F for 10 to 12 minutes.
