CHOCOLATE DIPPED BALLS 
1 c. confectioners' sugar
3/4 c. peanut butter
1 c. coconut, fine
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
1 c. dates, chopped
1 beaten egg
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine confectioners' sugar and peanut butter. Add coconut, nuts, dates, salt and vanilla. Mix in egg. Shape into small balls when the icing is warm.

ICING: Melt 1 (6 oz.) package chocolate bits in top of double boiler. Dip balls in chocolate and cool on waxed paper.
