PICKLED OKRA 
3 1/2 lbs. small okra pods
1 pt. white vinegar
1 qt. water
1/3 c. salt
3 sm. hot pepper, optional
2 tsp. dill seed
1 garlic bud per pint jar

Pack okra firmly in jars. Put garlic bud in each jar. Pour boiling brine over okra in jars and seal. Process in boiling water bath 10 minutes.
