2 c. sugar
2/3 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
4 c. flour
Sprinkle of salt

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix sugar, shortening, and eggs. Add sour cream and vanilla. Mix. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Roll dough, cut with cookie cutters. Bake for 10 minutes or until lightly brown. Frost or decorate as desired.
