SWEET CORNBREAD MUFFINS 
1 1/4 c. cornmeal
3/4 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. milk
1/4 c. vegetable oil or bacon drippings

Combine cornmeal, flour, baking powder, salt and sugar, set aside. Combine remaining ingredients and add to dry ingredients. Preheat well-greased muffin pan until hot. Spoon batter into cup 2/3 full.

Bake 12-15 minutes in a preheated 375°F oven, or until lightly browned.
