CHOCOLATE MACAROONS 
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. butter
6 tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 to 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shredded coconut
3 c. oatmeal

In a saucepan, bring first 3 ingredients to a boil until you can't stir it down. Then add rest of ingredients. Stir until blended. When mixture is all mixed drop by tablespoonfuls onto a cookie sheet lined with wax paper. When they are harden they are ready to eat. If you are in a hurry you can put them in the refrigerator so they will harden faster.
