KAHULA 
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
2 c. water
3 c. vodka
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. instant coffee
1/2 vanilla bean, split

Combine sugars and water. Boil for 5 minutes. Gradually stir in coffee. Cool. Add vodka and vanilla. Mix thoroughly. Cover and let set 1 month. Remove bean.
