1/2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
2 c. cornflakes
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Cream sugar and butter. Add vanilla. Add soda, cream of tartar, and flour. Stir in cornflakes and nuts. Drop by spoon on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for about 12 minutes.
