CARAMEL PECAN PIE 
1 bag (14 oz.) Kraft caramels
1/4 c. water
1/4 c. butter
3 eggs, beaten
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. pecan halves
1 unbaked 9" pie shell

Combine caramels, water and butter in top of double boiler. Bring water to boil; reduce heat to low and melt caramels. Remove from heat.

Mix eggs, sugar, vanilla and salt. Beat well, gradually adding melted caramels. Stir in pecans. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
