SEALY'S CHOCOLATE DIAMONDS 
1/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1/8 tsp. salt
1 oz. unsweetened chocolate
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
1 unbeaten egg
1/3 to 1/2 c. finely chopped pecans or walnuts

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Sift together flour and salt. Set aside. In double boiler or microwave, melt chocolate and butter. Stir in sugar, vanilla, egg and flour mixture. Spread batter thinly on two greased 8 x 8 x 2 inch pan. Sprinkle with nuts. Bake 10 to 12 minutes. Do not overbake. Cool slightly. Cut each into 16 squares or diamonds. When cold, remove to wire racks. Store in airtight containers.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
