ESTHER'S SPECIAL COFFEE CAKE 
1/4 lb. plus 1 tbsp. butter
1 c. sugar
3 eggs, beaten light
1 1/4 c. sour cream
1 tsp. baking soda
3 tsp. baking powder
3 c. sifted flour

TOPPING AND FILLING:

1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cocoa
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Cream the butter and sugar; add the eggs and sour cream, beating until smooth. Sift the baking soda and powder and flour into the mixture, stirring until well blended. Turn 1/2 the batter into a well greased 10 inch tube pan. Sprinkle the top with 1/2 of the filling. Put in the remaining batter and sprinkle with the remaining filling. Bake in a 375 degree oven for 1 hour or until firm and golden brown. Serve hot or cold.
