SAUSAGE CASSEROLE | |
1 lb. Brookshire Brothers pan sausage (mild or hot) 1 c. chopped celery 1 c. chopped bell pepper 1 c. chopped onion 1 can mushroom soup 1 can chicken and rice soup 1 c. raw rice 1/2 c. water grated cheese slivered almonds Brown sausage. Sauté celery, bell pepper and onion in sausage drippings. Stir sausage and vegetables together. Add soups, rice and water. Place in casserole and bake at 325°F for 45 minutes, covered. Remove from oven and cover with cheese (2 cups) and almond slivers. Return to oven for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted. |
