CHICKEN CASSEROLE 
6 slices bread, cubed
2 c. cooked, diced chicken
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1/2 c. diced celery
1/2 c. (or a little more) mayonnaise
3/4 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
4 slices buttered bread, cubed
1 1/2 c. milk
2 slightly beaten eggs
1 can mushroom soup

Spread bread cubes in bottom of 9 x 13 inch pan; combine next 7 ingredients and spread over bread cubes. Sprinkle buttered bread cubes over all. Combine milk and eggs and let stand overnight in refrigerator. Before baking, spread mushroom soup over top and bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 1 hour. Serves 12.
