MERINGUE TOPPING 
3 egg whites
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cornstarch

Beat egg whites until stiff; add cream of tartar. Blend well. Combine sugar and cornstarch; add to egg whites. Beat until stiff and shiny. Swirl on pie. Bake 10-15 minutes at 350 degrees.
