CHEESE CUBES 
1 loaf unsliced white bread, remove all crusts & cut into cubes (about 1 inch sq.)
1/4 lb. sharp cheddar cheese
1/4 lb. butter
2 egg whites, beaten stiff

Melt the cheese and butter in the top of a double boiler. Remove from heat and after it cools, slowly add the egg whites, folding in carefully. Drop the cubes into this mixture and coat well. Place on a greased cookie sheet and place in the refrigerator overnight. When ready to serve, bake in a 400 degree oven for 10 to 12 minutes or until brown.
