1/3 c. cornstarch
1 (#2) can crushed pineapple & juice
1/2 c. water
1 1/3 c. sugar

Mix and cook over low heat. Remove from heat and add 1/2 stick butter and 1 tablespoon lemon juice. Cool completely.
