BROWN SUGAR CRISPIES 
1 c. all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. butter, creamed
1 1/4 c. light brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. oatmeal flakes
1 c. Rice Krispies
1/4 c. chopped walnuts

Mix butter, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla together. Add flour, baking soda, and salt. Add oatmeal flakes, Rice Krispies, and chopped walnuts. Bake in 350 degree oven for 9 to 10 minutes, by teaspoonfuls an inch apart. Makes 2 to 3 dozen. This worked great for me.
