A-B-C INITIAL PRETZELS - X-Y-Z 
1 pkg. dry yeast
1 1/2 c. warm water
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar
4 c. flour

Soften yeast in warm water. Mix all ingredients in large bowl. Shape mixture into a large ball and knead until smooth. Add a little flour if dough is sticky. Let rise for 1/2 hour or so. Shape dough into 2 1/2 inch balls. Shape dough balls into letters. Brush with beaten egg yolk. Sprinkle with salt.

Bake at 425 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned. Enjoy!!
