BLACKBERRY COBBLER 
FILLING:

3 c. blackberries
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. lemon juice

TOPPING:

1 c. flour
1 tbsp. white sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3 tbsp. vegetable shortening
1/2 c. milk

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Grease a 1 1/2 quart baking dish. Combine ingredients to filling in a 1 1/2 quart bowl. Pour into baking dish. Combine 1 cup flour, 1 tablespoon sugar, 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder in small bowl. Cut in shortening, stir in milk. Drop dough by tablespoons over filling and bake 25 minutes or until topping is golden. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
