SAUSAGE AND PEPPER | |
3 green peppers 2 red peppers 2 red onions 1 clove garlic 3 lbs. sausage 2 (8 oz.) button mushrooms 1 to 2 sm. cans tomato sauce Worcestershire sauce 1 c. red wine 1. Slice peppers lengthwise and cook in water until almost tender, drain. 2. Cook sausage part way in microwave oven or in fry pan. Drain. Cut into pieces. 3. In frying pan, saute' in butter, onions, mushrooms, garlic, salt and pepper. 4. Mix in sausage and peppers and let cook for a bit. 5. Add remaining ingredients and let simmer until most of liquid is absorbed. |
