STRAWBERRY HONEY 
6 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. water
1 qt. crushed strawberries
1/4 tsp. alum

Boil sugar and water for 10 minutes. Add crushed strawberries and cook for 10 minutes longer. Remove from heat and add alum. Stir well. Ladle into hot jars; seal. Great for over ice cream.
