BEEF AND CABBAGE CASSEROLE 
1 head cabbage, cut into small wedges
1 med. onion, chopped fine
1/2 lb. ground beef, browned
1/4 c. raw rice, not instant
1 can tomato soup
1 c. water
Salt and pepper to taste

Place the wedges in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Cover with the onion, ground beef and rice. Mix soup, water and seasoning and pour over the main ingredients. Bake covered for 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees. Serves 8.
