QUICK TASTY OLD-TIME FUDGE | |
1 (12 oz.) pkg. peanut butter chips 7 oz. sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated milk) 6 tbsp. butter 3/4 c. unsalted dry roasted peanuts 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips 1. Line an 8 inch square pan with waxed paper. 2. In a heavy saucepan, combine the peanut butter chips, condensed milk and butter. Place over low heat, stirring just until melted. 3. Remove from heat. Stir in the peanuts. 4. Pour mixture into the prepared pan smoothing surface. 5. Place chocolate chips in a heavy saucepan or in the top of a double boiler placed over simmering water. Heat until chocolate is melted and smooth. 6. Spread chocolate over the top of the fudge. Cover. 7. Refrigerate until firm. 8. Turn fudge out onto cutting board. Remove waxed paper. |
