FROZEN KOLATCHKI 
4 c. flour
1 lb. Crisco
3 egg yolks
2 yeast cakes
1 c. milk
Pinch salt

FILLING:

About 1 lb. ground walnuts
1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Milk enough to make very thick paste

Crumble yeast with flour. Cut in Crisco. Add egg yolks and milk. Knead well until dough pulls away from sides of bowls. Refrigerate overnight. Break off about 1 handful of dough (keep rest in refrigerator). Roll in 10X sugar until thin. Cut into strips 1 1/2 x 2 inches. Place small amount of filling on end of strip and roll.

Place seam side down. Bake at 325 degrees about 15 minutes until slightly brown. You can buy canned lekvar, poppy seed or apricot filling.
