GERMAN CHOCOLATE CAKE 
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1 pkg. vanilla instant pudding
1 (4 oz.) pkg. German sweet chocolate, melted
4 eggs
1 1/4 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. oil

Combine all ingredients; beat 4 minutes. Pour into 3 greased 9" layer pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

ICING:

1 (6 oz.) can evaporated milk
2/3 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter
1 slightly beaten egg
Dash of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (3 oz.) can flaked coconut
1/2 c. chopped pecans

In saucepan, combine milk, sugar, butter, egg and salt. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture thickens and begins to boil, 12 to 15 minutes. Remove from heat; add vanilla, coconut and pecans. Cool thoroughly.
