BANANA SPLIT DELIGHT 
2 c. finely crushed vanilla wafers
1/3 c. butter, melted
1/2 c. butter, softened
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. sifted confectioners sugar
2 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. chopped toasted almonds
2 ripe bananas, sliced
1/2 c. maraschino cherries
1 c. whipping cream
1/4 c. sugar

Combine the wafer crumbs and 1/3 cup melted butter. Press into an 8 inch square pan.

Cream together 1/2 cup butter, eggs, and confectioners sugar, beat well. Spread over crumbs. Combine the sugar, whipping cream, and cocoa; whip until stiff. Fold in the almonds, bananas, and cherries. Pour topping over filling. Chill 24 hours.
