CHICKEN CASSEROLE | |
1 whole chicken 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 can cream of chicken soup 8 oz. sour cream 1 sm. can water chestnuts 1 stick butter 1 c. chicken broth 1 box Escort crackers Boil chicken, skin and debone. Melt butter in bottom of 6 x 12 inch casserole dish. Crumble 3/4 box of crackers into dish. press cracker crumbs into bottom of dish. Drain chestnuts and slice. In bowl mix soups, sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, chicken and broth; pour over cracker crust. Use remaining cracker crumbs as a top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. |
