WHITE FRUIT CAKE | |
1 c. sugar 1/2 c. butter 1 lb. candied cherries 1 lb. candied pineapple 5 eggs 2 c. plain flour 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. lemon 4 c. nuts Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and 1 cup flour alternately. Add flavorings. Roll fruit in 1 cup flour. Mix cake mixture over fruit and mix well. Bake at 275 degrees for 2 1/2 hours and no more. |
