SOUR CREAM PEAR PIE 
2 c. pears, diced fresh ripe or canned
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 c. sour cream
1 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
Dash of salt
Unbaked pie shell

Combine above ingredients. Blend gently. Spoon into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.

CRUMB TOPPING:

1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. flour
1/4 c. butter, softened

Combine all the topping ingredients until well mixed. Sprinkle on top of pie. Return to oven for 30 minutes more.

This was excellent. I made it with canned pears. My only critique would be to add a note to drain the pears if using canned.
