FRENCH FRIED ONION RINGS 
1 c. flour
2 tbsp. cornmeal
1 c. beer
3/4 tsp. salt
2 lg. Vidalia onions
4 c. oil for frying

Combine flour, cornmeal, beer and salt in bowl or blender. Cool and let sit 3 hours at room temperature. Dip onions in batter and fry in hot oil.
