CHEESE MIX FOR BAKED POTATOES | |
5 slices bacon 2 c. grated cheddar cheese 1 c. sour cream 1/2 c. butter 2 tbsp. green onion tops or chives, chopped 1/2 tsp. salt 8 potatoes, baked Fry bacon until crisp, crumble, set aside. Blend cheese, sour cream, butter, onion tops and salt. Refrigerate until ready to use. To serve, split baked potatoes, spoon in cold cheese mixture. Sprinkle with bacon bits. Put on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes until hot. Also, use on asparagus, broccoli, and green beans. |
