PRETZEL SALAD | |
2 c. chopped pretzel 3 tbsp. sugar 1 1/2 sticks melted butter 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese 1 1/2 c. sugar 1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jello 1 c. chopped pecans 1 c. chopped apples Mix pretzels, 3 tablespoons sugar and butter and press in bottom of 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake for 8 minutes at 400 degrees. Mix cream cheese, Cool Whip and 1 1/2 cups sugar and layer on top of pretzel mix. (Let the pretzels cool a little first.) Make Jello according to package directions. Put in refrigerator until almost set. Add apples and pecans. Spoon on top of cream cheese. Chill overnight. |
