BROWNIE DROPS 
2 (4 oz.) pkgs. Baker's German sweet chocolate
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
3/4 c. finely chopped pecans
1 tbsp. butter
2 eggs
1/4 c. unsifted flour
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. vanilla

Melt chocolate and butter in top of double boiler over hot water, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and cool slightly. Beat eggs until foamy. Add sugar, 2 tablespoons at a time, beating constantly until thickened and light in color (this takes 5 minutes on an electric mixer and longer with a rotary beater). Blend in chocolate mixture. Add flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Blend well. Stir in pecans and vanilla. Drop by the teaspoonful into greased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes or until cookies feel set. Cool. Store in tightly covered container. Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
