VEGETABLE SOUP 
2 c. butter beans
2 c. corn, cut from cob
2 c. okra, cut
2 qt. tomatoes
1 qt. water
1 med. ham hock
1 tbsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar
1 c. tomato catsup

Gather all ingredients. Cook ham hock in water until almost done. Add tomatoes, butter beans, corn and okra. Cook until done, about 45 minutes. Add salt, sugar and catsup.
