BUTTER PECAN TURTLE COOKIES 
Crust:

2 c. flour
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter

Caramel Layer:

2/3 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. whole pecan halves
1 c. milk chocolate chips

Blend crust ingredients until well mixed and press into 9 x 13-inch pan. Sprinkle pecans over crust.

Cook brown sugar and butter in heavy pan until mixture begins to boil, stirring. Boil 30 - 60 seconds. Pour over pecans and crust.

Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes until bubbly and light golden brown. When out of oven, sprinkle immediately with chocolate chips and spread over as they melt.
