HARVEST CAKE 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 3/4 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ginger
3/4 c. pumpkin
3/4 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
3/4 c. chopped walnuts

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs. Add dry ingredients alternately with pumpkin. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Pour batter into a greased and floured tube or bundt pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until the cake tests done. Cool about 20 minutes before turning out.
