OATMEAL MOLASSES COOKIES 
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. ginger
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. butter, soft
1 egg
1/4 c. dark molasses
1 1/2 c. quick cooking oats

Sift together the flour, soda, salt, cloves, ginger and sugar. Add butter, egg and molasses; beat until smooth. Stir in oats. Drop by level tbsp., 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. 7 minutes at 350 degrees.
