1 (3 oz.) box strawberry gelatin 1 c. hot water 1 c. vanilla ice cream 1 (10 oz.) box frozen strawberries, partially thawed 1 angel food cake cut horizontally in 3 layers 1 (8 oz.) carton whipped topping, thawed Dissolve gelatin in hot water. Add ice cream and strawberries. Stir until ice cream melts. Chill until thickened, approximately 20 minutes. Spread strawberry mixture between layers of cake; chill 4 hours. Before serving frost cake with whipped topping. 16 servings. |
