NORWEGIAN MEATBALLS 
1 1/2 lb. hamburger
1/2 c. fine bread crumbs
1/2 c. milk
1 egg
3/4 c. chopped onion
1/4 tsp. EACH of ginger, nutmeg, allspice & cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. butter
1 tbsp. flour
1 c. milk

Soak crumbs in 1/2 cup milk, mix with meat. Mix in egg, onion and spices. Make walnut sized balls and brown in butter. Remove to serving dish. Add flour to pan, then the cup of milk with enough water to make medium thick gravy. Then put meatballs back in pan with gravy and simmer 15 minutes.
