BEEF STROGANOFF 
2 lb. round steak, cut in strips
1 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 c. water
2 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 sm. can mushrooms
1 onion, sliced

Toss meat in mixture of flour, salt, and pepper. Brown meat in small amount of oil, then add water, mustard, salt, pepper, mushrooms, and onion. Cover and cook over simmering heat for 1 hour or until meat is tender. Stir occasionally. Make a paste of 2 tablespoons flour and 2 tablespoons water and slowly add the flour paste to meat, stirring constantly to prevent lumping. Simmer until gravy is thick. Stir in 1 cup sour cream and bring to boiling point over very low heat. Do not boil. Serve with rice or noodles. Serves 8-10.
