GREEN BEANS IN SOUR CREAM 
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen French style green beans
1 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. sour cream
1-2 tbsp. dry onion soup mix
Salt and pepper to taste
American cheese slices

Cook or microwave green beans until crisp-tender. Drain well and mix in butter, salt, pepper, and dry onion soup. Fold in sour cream and mix well. Place mixture in a glass pie plate or 1-quart oven dish. Top with 3-4 slices of American cheese. Bake at 375 degrees until cheese melts and bubbles. 3-4 servings.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
