DATE BAR-ANGEL COOKIES 
2 eggs, beaten
1/8 tsp. salt
1 (8 oz.) chopped dates
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. Rice Krispies
1 c. chopped nuts
3/4 c. sugar
1 stick butter

Beat eggs. Add sugar and salt, beat well. Melt butter in skillet, pour in egg mixture and dates. Stir and cook about 5-7 minutes until mixture turns brown. Add vanilla, remove from heat. Add Rice Krispies and nuts. Cool slightly. Make into 2 long rolls (or 3 shorter). Roll in powdered sugar or nuts. Put in refrigerator overnight. Slice as needed.
