2 (3 oz.) cans beets, sliced
All the juice
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
1/4 tsp. celery seed
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt

Put spices in a bag. Boil a few minutes with beets and juice.
