RO-TEL AND GREEN BEANS 
1 sm. onion, chopped
Bacon drippings for sauteing
2 (16 oz.) cans French style green beans, drained
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar
1 (10 oz.) can Ro-tel tomatoes with green chilies
6 slices crisp-fried bacon, crumbled

Saute onion in bacon drippings in large skillet just until tender. Add green beans, stirring to coat with bacon drippings. Cook, covered, for several minutes. Add salt, sugar, undrained tomatoes and crumbled bacon; mix well. Reduce heat to low. Cook for 15 minutes longer. Yield: 6 to 8 servings.

I have changed this up just a bit by adding apple cider vinegar to taste. Always a hit!
