QUICK AND EASY TRIFLE 
1 lg. box instant vanilla pudding
1 lg. Cool Whip
1 angel food cake
3 c. milk
2 to 3 tsp. rum flavoring

Slice cake in 1/2 inch slices and layer bottom of 3 quart dish with cake. Make pudding according to directions on package. Add rum flavoring and 3/4 carton of Cool Whip.

Spoon pudding mixture over cake. Add another layer of cake and then the remaining pudding. Add the last of the Cool Whip on top. Center each spoonful with maraschino cherries. Refrigerate overnight.

Variation: Add fresh sliced strawberries to layer and top.

Can add coconut.
