ITALIAN MEATBALL SANDWICH
CASSEROLE
 
1/3 cup chopped green onions
1/4 cup bread crumbs
3 tbsp. grated parmesan cheese
1 lb. ground beef
16 oz. Italian style bread, cut into 1 inch cubes
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup mayo
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
1/4 tsp. ground pepper
2 Cups Mozzarella cheese
3 Cups spaghetti sauce
1 cup water
2 cloves garlic, minced

Preheat oven to 400.

Mix together onions, bread crumbs, parmesan cheese and ground beef. roll into 1 inch balls, place in baking pan.

Bake 15-20 minutes until no longer pink.

Arrange bread cubes in a single layer in an ungreased 9 X 13 pan. Mix together cream cheese, mayo, Italian seasoning and black pepper until smooth. Spread this over the bread cubes. Sprinkle with 1/2 of the mozzarella cheese.

In large bowl, mix spaghetti sauce, water and garlic. Gently stir in meatballs. Pour over bread and cheese mixture in the baking pan. Sprinkle remaining mozzarella cheese on top.

Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
