ITALIAN SPAGHETTI SAUCE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 c. chopped onion
1 (2 lb. 3 oz.) can tomatoes, drained
2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
1/4 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. dried basil leaves
1 clove garlic, crushed
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. chopped parsley
1/2 c. water

Brown ground beef, onions, and garlic. Drain grease. Add remaining ingredients and simmer covered at medium heat for 5 hours. Serves 6-8.
