VANILLA WAFER DESSERT 
5 egg yolks
1 c. sugar
1 c. butter
1 can crushed pineapple
1 c. chopped nuts
1 lg. box lemon Jello
Whipped cream

Using a double boiler cook the egg yolks, sugar and butter until thick and lemon colored. Stir while cooking to prevent sticking. When done add pineapple and nuts. Remove from heat.

Line the bottom of a large pan with vanilla wafers. These can be whole wafers or crushed wafers. Pour pudding mixture over the top and chill until set. Prepare lemon Jello according to package directions and pour over the top of the pudding. Top with whipped cream and serve.
