PINTO BEAN CASSEROLE 
1 lb. hamburger
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/3 c. chopped onions
3/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. oil
2 c. canned pinto beans
2 canned tomatoes

Brown hamburger in oil, drain and add onion, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder and tomatoes. Simmer 15 minutes. Add pinto beans and pour into baking dish.

TOPPING:

2 tbsp. flour
10 tbsp. cornmeal
1 1/2 tbsp. shortening
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 egg, beaten

Mix well and pour on top of bean mixture. Bake 20 minutes at 435 degrees. Serve with slaw or salad.
